PIE is powered by volunteers and community spirit! Donations of any size help us create the best free indie comics festival we can. Donations are used to bring in amazing guests, host workshops, purchase supplies, spread the word, get snacks for volunteers and exhibitors, and more.

PIE began as PIX (Pittsburgh Indy Comix Exposition) presented by The Copacetic Comics Company and the ToonSeum. Thanks to the legacy of previous PIX organizers Bill Boichel, Harold Behar, John F. Kelly, Jared Catherine, Daniel Patrick McCloskey, Juan José Fernandez, and more!
