PIE got its start as PIX (Pittsburgh Indy Comix Exposition,) brought to life by The Copacetic Comics Company and the ToonSeum. Huge thanks to the original PIX organizers Bill Boichel, Harold Behar, John F. Kelly, Jared Catherine, Daniel Patrick McCloskey, Juan José Fernandez, and so many more whose dedication helped build Pittsburgh’s indie comics community.
